Approve Samples
Once samples have had their results verified, they will be visible at the Approve Samples lifecycle stage.
Access to this step is dependent on the Lifecycle: Approve samples permission on your user account.

Approving Samples
To locate a job for approval:
- Select the
Lifecycle > Approve Samplesmenu from the sidebar or click on the [ Approve Samples ] icon in the header. - Click on a job in the left list to load the job details. Jobs will be grouped by client if you have more than one client associated with your user account.
📒 You can search for jobs by ID, batch number or client to locate particular jobs.
A list of samples will be displayed for the job that has been selected.
📒 Only samples with a status of Results Verified or Approved will appear in the list of samples. All other samples will need to be progressed until they appear.
To approve a sample:
- Select the checkbox next to the sample you want to approve. It is possible to approve more than one sample at a time.
- Click the [ Approve (x) ] button to open the summary panel.
- Select the [ Approve (x) ] button on the summary panel to approve the selected samples.
- Once approved, a green ✅ icon will appear next to the samples and the samples will have a status of
Approved.
A Sample Approved email notification will be sent to the associated client’s email address, displaying the list of samples that have been approved. It is possible to modify the email subject on the summary panel prior to approving the samples.
Job Approval
Once all samples for a job have been approved, the jobs status will move to Approved .

Reporting
Printing a Sample Certificate
Sample certificates can be downloaded and printed per sample from the Approve Samples screen once the sample has been approved.
Select the [ Download ] button on the sample row to download the sample certificate report.
📒 Sample certificates can also be printed from the sample viewer screen.

A quick link to the trending screen is available by clicking the 📈 icon on an approved sample row.
