Job Certificate
A job certificate is a certificate of analysis for a job including all of the job’s samples.
A job certificate can be created once all the samples on the job have been approved.
Generated job certificates are automatically saved to the job attachments so they can be retrieved at a later date.

The job certificate report contains a summary of the entire job and its samples.
Report Contents
Header
The report title, logo, client name and client address are displayed at the top of the report. If any of the job’s samples are not yet approved, it will also display 'Not Approved'.
Job Details
This section shows the Job ID, batch number, description and client name.
Sample Summary
This section shows the product’s name, description and specification description.
Sample Details
The sample details section is a copy of the sample certificate report for every sample on the job.
Footer
The bottom of the report shows the organization address and telephone number followed by the user who printed the sample certificate, along with the time it was printed then the page number and the template name.
Printing a Job Certificate
Final job certificates can be printed from the View Job screen once all the samples on the job have been approved, but draft job certificates can be printed as soon as one or more of the samples goes into test.
- Select a Job to view its details.
- In the bottom left of the screen, click the [ Job Certificate ] button.
- The button will display [ Draft Job Certificate ] if the job is not yet approved.
- See Printing Custom Reports if any custom reports have been uploaded for a job certificate.
- If you have custom job certificate templates uploaded, you will be prompted to select which template to use.
- The job certificate will then be saved to the job attachments and open in a new tab, displaying as a PDF document.
📒 Job certificates are automatically uploaded to the job’s attachments for approved jobs. If a job certificate is downloaded a second time the original copy stored in the job’s attachments will be returned.
Job certificates can also be downloaded at the point of sample approval on the Approve Samples screen.
On the Approve Samples screen, click the [ Download ] button at the bottom of the screen to generate the PDF document.
Regenerating a Job Certificate
By default, any attempts to download a job certificate (if one has already been generated) will result in the original certificate being downloaded from the job attachments. If an updated certificate is required, i.e. if some data has changed, a user with the Jobs: Regenerate job certificates permission can generate an updated job certificate.
Job certificates can be regenerated on the View Job screen.
The newly generated report will be saved in the job attachments and will be the one downloaded when using the [ Job Certificate ] button.
