Verify Tests

Once results have been entered for a sample you can then view this sample’s tests on Verify Tests  lifecycle step.

Access to this step is dependent on the Lifecycle: Verify tests  permission on your user account.

Verifying Tests

To locate a job for test verification:

  1. Select the Lifecycle > Verify Tests menu from the sidebar or click on the [ Verify Tests ] icon in the header.
  2. Click on a job in the left list to load the job details. Jobs will be grouped by client if you have more than one client associated with your user account.

📒 You can search for jobs by ID, batch number or client to locate particular jobs.

Verification is done by checking the box on the left next to the relevant test and then clicking the [ Verify ] button.

📒 Check that the number shown on the [ Verify ] button matches the number of tests you expect to see that you have verified.


Specifications

Tests with outputs that are out of specification or out of trend will be highlighted red or yellow respectively and an icon will appear next to the relevant output cell.

Viewing Specification Limits

You can view specification limits of any output by hovering over an output cell. A popup will appear displaying a quick summary (pass / fail / out of specification) as well as specification limits, trend limits and the output description.


Independent Verification

If the Require Independent Verification setting is switched on, the verification checkbox will not be available for the user who submitted the results.

Submitters & Verifiers

It is possible to see which user submitted and verified tests and the date which they happened:

  1. Hover over the ✅symbol on a test row to see the status of the test.
  2. If the test has been submitted, the tooltip show who submitted the test and the date in which it was submitted.
  3. If the test has been verified, the tooltip show who verified the test and the date in which it was verified.
