How do I customize fields and forms?

Users can customize fields via Setup > Custom Fields. LabHQ supports different field types for custom fields, including text, number, date and list (dropdown options), allowing flexibility for data entry.

You can create custom fields at both the job- and sample-levels, depending on whether the data point applies to an entire job or individual samples.

You can also set default custom fields that apply to all clients, or define client-specific custom fields that are only present for certain customers, allowing you to tailor your data management based on individual client requirements.
