Certificates

Certificates provides a controlled area for viewing and downloading certificate files generated by LabHQ.

Unlike attachments, certificates are system-generated documents that are created using designated report templates and are stored separately from uploaded files.

Certificates can be accessed from:

  • Job Details
  • Sample Details

Select the Certificates tab to view all certificates generated for the selected record.

Viewing Certificates

The Certificates tab displays all generated certificates associated with the selected job or sample.

Information displayed includes:

  • Filename
  • Client
  • Date and time generated

Certificates are ordered from newest to oldest, allowing quick access to the most recently generated documents.

Job Certificates

The Job Details screen displays all certificates generated at the job level.

When a new job certificate is generated, it is automatically added to the Job Certificates list.

Sample Certificates

The Sample Details screen displays all certificates generated for the selected sample.

When a new sample certificate is generated, it is automatically added to the Sample Certificates list.

Downloading Certificates

To download a certificate:

  1. Open the Certificates tab.
  2. Locate the required certificate.
  3. Select the Download icon.

The generated PDF will be downloaded to your device.

Certificate History

Each generated certificate is retained within the Certificates tab, providing visibility of:

  • When the certificate was generated
  • Which client it was generated for
  • Different certificate versions generated using different templates

This allows users to access previously generated certificates without having to regenerate them.

Certificates vs. Attachments

Certificates and attachments are managed separately within LabHQ.

Certificates are generated by LabHQ and stored within the Certificates tab.

Attachments are uploaded files and supporting documentation and stored within the Attachments tab.
