Customize Sample Labels

LabHQ allows you to customize your sample labels to match your lab's processes, formatting requirements and printer setup. Labels are generated using ZPL (Zebra Programming Language), giving you full control over the layout, positioning and content displayed on each label.

Using the Label Settings tool, you can define label dimensions, adjust print settings and edit the ZPL code to design labels that include key information such as Sample IDs, batch numbers, product information and key dates. Dynamic data tokens can be inserted into your label template to automatically populate values from LabHQ.

You can preview and test your labels before printing them from the lifecycle, ensuring that they display correctly and align with your printer configuration. This makes it easy to create labels that are clear, consistent and suitable for your lab.
