Subscriptions & Feature Access
This guide explains which features are available in each LabHQ subscription tier, how feature limits work and how to upgrade your plan.
Overview of Subscription Tiers
LabHQ offers multiple subscription tiers designed to support different lab sizes and needs.
Each tier varies by:
- Available features
- Access to advanced modules and customization

How User Limits Work
All subscription tiers allow up to a maximum of 200 users. The price per user depends on your subscription tier.
You can add or remove users at any time.
Paid plans are billed based on the number of active users.
What happens when you reach 200 users?
If you reach the 200 user limit, you won't be able to add additional users via the LabHQ app.
Existing users will continue working normally but you'll be prompted to contact us for a custom plan.
Why Upgrade Your Subscription?
Upgrading your subscription gives you:
- Access to additional features
- App and reporting customization
- Access to advanced modules
How to Upgrade
Upgrades are currently handled by the LabHQ team.
To upgrade:
- Go to the LabHQ website and visit the Upgrade Plan page.
- Submit your request with your desired plan and/or number of users.
- The LabHQ team will review and confirm the change.
Once confirmed:
- Your plan will be updated.
- New features will be enabled.
- Billing will begin based on your chosen subscription tier.
What Happens if you Downgrade?
If you downgrade:
- You may lose access to certain features.
- Your price per user will change.
- Data created for features not included in the new subscription tier will become unavailable or read-only
