Daily Stock Overview

The Daily Stock Overview email notification provides users with a summary of stock items that have expired batches. This helps users monitor critical stock levels and take action on expired materials. The notification is optional and can be enabled or disabled by each individual user.
Key Features
- User-level configuration - each user can choose whether or not to receive the notification.
- Top 5 expired stock items - the email lists up to five stock items with the greatest number of expired batches.
- Includes item names and total expired batches.
- Direct link - the email contains a link to the Expired Stock screen in the application.
- Smart sending - if no expired stock batches exist, no email is sent.
- Sent once daily - notifications are delivered once per day, only on working days defined in the system settings.
Enabling or Disabling the Notification
Each user can manage this setting independently.
To enable the daily notification:
- Navigate to the User Settings and select Configure Notifications.
- Select the checkbox next to 'Daily Stock Overview'.
- Save your changes.
To disable the daily notification:
- Navigate to the User Settings and select Configure Notifications.
- Deselect the checkbox next to 'Daily Stock Overview'.
- Save your changes.
If the setting is disabled, you won't receive any stock overview emails.

When Emails are Sent
The email is sent once per day.
Emails are only sent on working days, based on the organisation's working day configuration in the system settings.
If the system identifies no expired batches, the notification will be skipped for that day.
Email Content Details
If expired batches are found, the email will include:
Top 5 Stock Items with Expired Batches
Each entry shows:
- Stock item name
- Number of expired batches
Items are sorted by the highest count of expired batches.
Navigation Link
A direct link to the Expired Stock screen is provided for quick access to detailed information and follow-up actions.

Conditions for Email Delivery
You will only receive the email if:
- You have enabled the notification in your user settings.
- At least one expired stock batch exists in the system.
- It is a working day as defined in the system settings.
