The Inventory screen provides a central view of all stock items and their current available quantities. From this screen, you can monitor stock levels, identify low or out of stock items, search and filter inventory and access detailed information about individual stock items and their batches.

Header Metrics

At the top of the Inventory screen, a summary header displays key stock metrics:

• Total Items - The total number of stock items in the system.
• In Stock - Stock items with available quantity above zero and above the minimum threshold.
• Low Stock - Items with available quantity below their configured minimum threshold.
• Out of Stock - Items with no available quantity remaining.

Each metric is clickable. Selecting a metric automatically filters the inventory list to display only the relevant items, allowing quick identification of stock issues.

Viewing Stock Items

The main inventory table displays all stock items along with their current available quantities and key attributes. From this list, you can quickly assess stock availability and navigate to detailed item information.

Searching & Filtering Inventory

You can refine the inventory list using the following tools:

Search

• Use the search box to find stock items by name or other identifying information.
• Results update dynamically as you type.

Filters

• Category filter - Narrow the list to stock items within a specific category.
• Availability filter - Filter items based on availability status (e.g. in stock, low stock, out of stock).

Filters can be used independently or combined with search and header metric selections.

Viewing Stock Item Details

To view more information about a specific stock item:

• Click the stock item name in the inventory list, or
• Click the eye icon at the far right of the item row

This opens the Stock Item Details window. This provides in-depth information about the selected stock item and its individual batches.

Batch List

The batch table displays all batches associated with the stock item, including:

• Received date
• Batch number
• Available quantity
• Expiry date
• Status, which may be:
  • Requires testing
  • Testing in progress
  • Approved
  • Rejected

Editing Batch Details

• Click the pencil icon next to a batch to edit its details.

QC Testing

• For batches that require testing, a View Sample link is available.
• Selecting this link opens the associated sample in the QC lifecycle, allowing you to review testing status and results.

Stock Analytics

The stock item details window also includes visual analytics to help track batch usage and disposal trends.

Stock Distribution

The stock distribution pie chart shows the percentage distribution of batches by status:

• Used
• Disposed
• Expired
• Available
• Not yet approved

Stock Disposal

The stock disposal line chart displays the quantity of stock disposed over time.

Time grouping

Both charts can be viewed by:

• Week
• Month
• Quarter

Use the time grouping options to analyze trends at different levels of detail.
