Portal Job Submission
Samples can be submitted for testing via the Portal using the [Submit a New Job] button, located on the Job & Sample Viewer screen.

Create Job Wizard
The job submission process is done via a wizard that guides you through the process.
Job Details
The first step will ask you to enter the job's details. This includes confirming the client, and entering other optional details including job batch number and description .
You may also see additional input fields depending on the lab’s requirements. These could include fields like text inputs, number fields, date selectors, or dropdowns with predefined options.
Once complete, click the [Next] button to move on to the next step.

Products and Samples
The [Available Products] selector can be used to add one or more products to the job. Once selected, each product appears below in the [Selected Products] display pane. Use the [Sample Number] selector to change the number of samples that require testing. A maximum of 200 samples can be added per product. The [delete] icon can be used to remove the product from the job, should it not be required.
Once finished, click the [Next] button to move on to the next step.

Sample Details
The [Batch Number] field can be used to add the required batch number against each sample. [Reference No] and [Sample Description] fields can also be used to provide optional details.
The first test suite associated with the sample's product will be selected by default. This can be changed by selecting the [Test Suite] field and selecting another test suite.
You may also see additional input fields depending on the lab’s requirements. These could include fields like text inputs, number fields, date selectors, or dropdowns with predefined options.
Use the [Prev] and [Next] buttons to navigate through each sample to add their respective details.
If you have more than one sample, A [Copy to All] button is available to quickly apply the current sample's details to all other samples.
- This will overwrite any existing data on the other samples.
- A confirmation message will be displayed before applying the changes.
Once details have been provided for all samples, click the [Next] button to move on to the final step.

Review and Submit
The final step shows a summary of the job you wish to create. The green tiles ([Job Details], [Products & Samples], [Sample Details], and [Review and Submit]) in the wizard's header can be used to go back to amend any details.
When you are happy with the job, click the [Submit Job] button to create it.

A confirmation message will appear upon successful job submission, displaying the job ID. You can then view the job in the Job & Sample Viewer.
